  • Under his oversight, West Point introduced race-centric materials, critical race theory perspectives, and coursework on “Whiteness,” justified through the vague rhetoric of inclusion and historical awareness. These were not extracurricular distractions; they were embedded in the academic core of future officers’ training.”
  • A recent West Point contract with EAB states West Point’s key performance indicators include “diversity-centric applications” and that “a diversified Corps of Cadets is—now more than ever—essential for the future of the Academy and the U.S. Army officer corps.” The contract specifies the contractor shall provide the government with a newsletter “sent to H.S. [high school] students of color.” The contractor was to provide exclusive access in “support of the Government’s access and equity goals.”
  • In 2023 Reeves gave multiple Dean’s Awards for DEI Excellence
    • One example is Professor Erika Rovira: “The greatest of her many contributions has been serving as the co-founder of the EXCEL Scholars program, whose goal has been to support the representation of African American and Hispanic cadets among the cohort of Cadet scholarship recipients so that it more closely matches U.S. demographics. The program has grown from 50 students at its inception in 2011 to over 200 now.” …. “Her research has spearheaded innovative approaches to Design Equity for Women, as well as Gender and Racial Equity Design.”
