⚠ Key Findings
  • 1 Under his command, Ramstein AFB hosted a "Read With Pride" event in June of 2023. This event was highly targeted at children and promoted LGBT-positive books. The official Facebook page advertised the event boasting that volunteers read books to kids in celebration of Pride Month that were "focused on inclusion".
    • According to a publication by Fox News, "Pictures of the event show the volunteers reading books to kids in a room decorated in rainbow colors, including a table with a placard informing children that the area is a "safe space."
  • 2 Participated in a black history month event in which he along with an all-black air crew piloted a C-130 cargo plane.
  • 3 In an Air Force Academy interview he stated:
    • "We have to look forward and lean forward. We need to continue to enhance our diversity and understand that the best ideas often come from someone who does not look like you, think like you or have the same beliefs. Diversity, inclusion, respect and tolerance are critical to our nation's success as we enter this new age of global power and positioning."
    • "Our diversity as the Air Force's only academy is so important to our remaining the greatest Air Force in the World."
