  • Spoke at a “Braver Angels” event where he stated:
    • “One thing I’m trying to do is open the base. I think after 9/11, we just sort of closed the gates and COVID didn’t help at all,” said Galbert. “So I want more people like you to be on my base. I want more people like you to come on to the base, see our diversity, and to demonstrate to you that it is a strength.
  • In an interview conducted by Northern Sentry regarding Minot AFB Black History Month celebrations, he said the following:
    • “It’s important that the Air Force and the community value diversity, equity, and inclusion.”
    • “I would just maybe remind people that African American history is American history and black culture is American culture. There isn’t enough time to teach all of the history so it’s important that we have these programs that we teach during Black History Month.”
    • “To take the entire month of February to host events and educational opportunities put on by the African American Heritage Council is certainly important to our Airmen and shows how much we value diversity, equity, and inclusion. We really are very excited about Black History Month.”
