Spoke on an all-black panel aimed to “set an example for the next generation of soldiers of color.”
Oversaw the cancellation of all religious support contracts for Catholic Army Chapels.
- According to the Archbishop for the Military Services, he had met with Green in which he was told that the other DREs and non-Catholic staff would pick up the slack for the enlisted Catholics despite not being qualified to partake in sacramental rites.
- Staff under Green’s command later recommended that Catholic enlisted should venture off base for mass and to receive sacraments as a solution.
